in response to: I ' ve been going to Zarky ' ...
I purchased a half slab pizza from Zarkys on Homestead and got home and it was already stale. I went back to the location the next day to get my money back or a replacement pizza and the manager insisted that the pizza always goes stale overnight. This has never happened to me before as their pizza is usually fresh. I told him that and he said if I wasnt expecting to eat a half slab of pizza overnight I shouldnt have gotten it. I told him that it wasnt even a full 24 hours and the pizza was rock hard. He got very rude and said that it was my fault for not wrapping it properly. I told him I couldnt even get a replacement? At that point he was rude and said I guess I can give you a replacement this time only as if I do this every week. I left and said forget about it and will never go back there again. Buyer beware...check the freshness of the pizza before buying.
I have an experience where there was a pricing problem which was noticed after we got home. I left a phone message which has not been answered for two weeks. Not good customer relations!
It would be helpful if regular store hours are posted on this site.
I've been going to Zarky's for years. My daughter and I love their slab pizzas... especially when you buy them and they are still warm. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the blue juice powder my daughter likes the best is out of stock quite frequently... but other than that, A+++!
I've been shopping at Zarky's for YEARS! The slab pizza is wonderful and their bakery items are fresh and delicious. The staff is always very friendly and helpful as well. In fact, I'll be going there today to buy a lasagna for my party tonight. A+!!!

Today I purchased Broccoli and cheese soup. It was so salty I could not eat it and put it in the garbage where it belonged. NEVER will I purchase soup at Zarky's again.
in response to: GOOD EXCEPT FOR EVERYBODY USING THERE ...
You must be very paranoid I have shopped at Zarky's for a long time and have never seen any one with dirty hands handling the bread products, maybe you should do all your own baking. Zarky's make the best buns in the whole area.
